A pod kit is a compact device that uses a removable pod to hold e-liquid. The coil may be built into the pod or replaceable separately. See Pod Vape Kits Explained.

There is no fixed lifespan. Liquid sweetness, power, puff frequency, priming and how low the liquid is allowed to run all matter. Replace it when flavour falls sharply, the taste remains burnt or the part is visibly worn or leaking.

The coil may be dry, worn, used above its power range or unable to absorb the liquid quickly enough. Stop using it, check the liquid level and settings, and replace a permanently burnt pod or coil.

Possible causes include overfilling, liquid in the airflow, an open filling seal, a damaged pod, temperature changes, drawing too hard or a worn coil. Clean the device and inspect the pod before continuing.

Too much liquid may have entered the coil or airflow. Check that the pod is not overfilled, wipe the contacts and airway, and use gentle puffs. Persistent flooding may mean the pod or coil needs replacing.

Check the cable, power source, charging port and visible damage. Remove dirt carefully without using metal inside the port. Stop if the device or battery becomes unusually hot, swollen or damaged.

No. Replacements are model-specific and sometimes vary within the same product family. Bring the device or exact model name so the correct part can be identified.

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions, use suitable charging equipment, keep the device on a stable non-flammable surface and inspect the cable and port. Do not continue charging a damaged or unusually hot battery.

Stop using and charging it immediately, keep it away from flammable material and seek specialist advice. Do not carry a loose battery with keys, coins or other metal objects.

Nicotine salt is a nicotine formulation commonly used in lower-power pod kits. Many users find it smoother at higher strengths than an equivalent freebase liquid.

Freebase is the traditional nicotine form used in many e-liquids. It generally produces a more noticeable throat hit as the strength increases.

It normally means a roughly equal mixture of vegetable glycerine and propylene glycol. This consistency is suitable for many mouth-to-lung pods and coils.

High-VG liquid contains more vegetable glycerine and is thicker. It is generally intended for larger, higher-power coils and may not wick properly in a small pod.

A shortfill is a larger bottle of nicotine-free e-liquid with space left for nicotine shots. The final strength depends on the bottle size, liquid volume and shots added.
