Most eligible vape hardware bought directly from Vapour Central includes our six-month warranty against manufacturing faults. This is an additional promise from us; it does not replace or reduce your rights under UK consumer law.
Something has gone wrong?
Stop using the product if it is damaged, leaking, swollen, unusually hot or appears unsafe. Contact us or bring it to a store with reasonable proof of purchase and a clear description of the problem.
Our six-month hardware warranty
Our additional warranty normally covers manufacturing faults affecting eligible vape kits, regulated battery devices and similar durable hardware during the first six months after purchase.
Examples that may be covered
- Internal electronic failure during normal use
- A manufacturing fault affecting power or charging
- A control, screen or connection failing without damage or misuse
- Another verified defect that prevents normal operation
Examples not covered by the extra warranty
- Accidental damage, drops, crushing or modification
- Liquid or water ingress, corrosion or contamination
- Physical damage to charging ports or connections
- Use outside the manufacturer’s instructions
- Normal cosmetic wear or gradual battery-capacity loss
- Consumable parts reaching the end of their normal working life
An exclusion from our additional warranty does not decide whether you have a statutory remedy. If the goods were inherently faulty, misdescribed or not fit for purpose, your consumer rights still apply.
Consumables and wear parts
Coils, pods, glass, seals, cables and removable batteries do not have the same expected service life as a regulated device. Their lifespan depends on use, liquid, power, charging, storage and physical handling.
- A coil wearing out, tasting burnt after use or becoming clogged is not automatically a manufacturing fault.
- A pod that is damaged, overfilled or used beyond its working life is not covered merely because it later leaks.
- Rechargeable batteries naturally lose capacity through age and charge cycles.
- An item that was defective when supplied is different from normal wear and will be assessed accordingly.
Report an apparent defect as soon as reasonably possible, especially with consumable or fragile products, so that its original condition can be assessed.
How we assess a claim
- We confirm the purchase. A receipt is helpful, but an order confirmation, card record or other reasonable evidence may also be suitable.
- We inspect the product. We may test it, check compatible components and look for accidental damage, liquid ingress or normal wear.
- We identify the appropriate remedy. Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, this may be a repair, replacement, refund or another appropriate resolution.
- We may involve the manufacturer. Some faults need technical confirmation, but a manufacturer’s process does not remove the rights you have against the retailer.
Online change-of-mind returns
For an eligible online, telephone or other distance purchase, tell us within 14 days of receiving the goods that you wish to cancel. You then have a further 14 days to return the eligible goods.
- You do not need to give a reason.
- You are normally responsible for return postage for a change-of-mind cancellation.
- Goods can be handled only as much as reasonably necessary to inspect them; avoidable loss of value may be deducted.
- Certain sealed products can be excluded once unsealed where a legal health or hygiene exception applies.
- If an entire eligible order is cancelled, the refund includes our standard outbound delivery cost. Any additional premium-delivery upgrade does not have to be refunded.
Contact us before sending or bringing back an online order so that we can confirm the return route and identify the parcel.
Purchases made in store
There is no automatic legal right to return an in-store purchase simply because you changed your mind, selected the wrong flavour or later found a cheaper product. A discretionary exchange may be considered where appropriate, but this is separate from your rights when goods are faulty, misdescribed or not fit for purpose.
Opened liquids, pods and sealed products
We cannot normally resell opened liquids, used mouthpieces, filled pods or other products where product integrity, health or hygiene is affected. That can exclude them from a change-of-mind return. It does not remove your rights if the item was faulty, damaged or misdescribed when supplied.
Battery and device safety
Stop using or charging a product immediately if a battery is swollen, dented, leaking, unusually hot, has a damaged wrap or shows signs of internal damage. Keep it away from flammable materials and seek advice. Do not carry loose batteries with keys, coins or other metal objects.
Warranty and returns FAQs
How long is the Vapour Central hardware warranty?
Most eligible vape hardware bought directly from us includes a six-month warranty against manufacturing faults. Product type and exclusions matter, and statutory rights remain separate.
Do I have to keep the original box?
Keep it where possible because serial information and accessories can make assessment easier. However, reasonable proof of purchase is more important than the box alone.
Is a damaged USB port covered?
A manufacturing defect affecting the port may be covered. Bent, forced, contaminated or accidentally damaged ports are not covered by the extra warranty, although statutory rights still apply to an inherent fault.
Why did my coil not last as long as expected?
Coil life varies with liquid sweetness, power, puff frequency, priming and how low the liquid is allowed to run. A short life is not by itself proof of a manufacturing defect.
Can I return an online order to a store?
Contact us first. We will confirm whether the goods are eligible and what evidence or components to bring.
Who pays return postage?
The customer normally pays for an eligible change-of-mind return. Where goods are genuinely faulty, we deal with reasonable return costs where required by law.
Can a refund be sent to a different payment method?
Refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. Contact us if the original account has been closed so that the provider’s process can be checked.
Nothing on this page excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. The correct remedy depends on the product, fault, purchase date and individual circumstances.
