Free UK Delivery On Orders £30+

Drop off, return or collect eligible DHL parcels at Vapour Central Westcliff and Vapour Central Rayleigh through Parcelly. DHL operates different networks and booking routes, so the label, QR code or retailer instruction must name the exact branch and service.

DHL services available

  • Eligible DHL parcel drop-offs
  • Eligible retailer and eCommerce returns
  • Eligible DHL customer collections

A DHL Express ServicePoint booking and a DHL eCommerce return are not the same service. Their packaging, label and size rules can differ.

DHL limits differ by service

DHL route Published guide limit Important difference
DHL Express ServicePoint Largest published ServicePoint box: 48 × 40 × 39cm; up to 25kg. DHL Express says contents may need to be checked before the parcel is finally sealed.
DHL eCommerce return ServicePoint Up to 20kg and 120 × 90 × 60cm for the published returns route. Follow the retailer return label or QR-code instructions.
Other DHL or retailer booking Varies. The live booking is the final instruction.

These examples were checked in August 2026 and are not interchangeable. The old 75 × 75 × 75cm / 25kg statement must not be treated as a universal DHL limit.

Printed label or QR code?

Printed-label bookings

Attach the complete label securely, keep the barcode flat and readable, and remove or fully cover old labels. Staff cannot correct the recipient, destination or service shown on the label.

QR-code bookings

Some DHL and retailer routes allow a compatible QR code to be processed at the ServicePoint. Bring the original live code from the booking. An order email or photograph of a label is not automatically a valid QR-code booking.

Sealing and packaging

Follow the instruction for the exact DHL route:

  • DHL Express ServicePoint: DHL advises customers not to finally seal the shipment before the ServicePoint contents check where that process applies.
  • DHL eCommerce and retailer returns: these commonly arrive packaged and sealed according to the retailer’s return instruction.
  • Use strong outer packaging and protect the contents from movement.
  • Do not bring leaking, wet, badly damaged or unsafe parcels.
  • Check prohibited and restricted-item rules before travelling.

Parcel2Go and other broker labels

A DHL label bought through Parcel2Go or another broker is not automatically compatible with the Parcelly route at our shops. It can be accepted only when the booking itself names Vapour Central Westcliff or Vapour Central Rayleigh as the supported drop-off point. The store cannot transfer, amend or refund a broker booking.

Collecting a DHL parcel

  1. Wait for confirmation that the parcel is ready at the named branch.
  2. Bring the collection code, barcode or PIN shown in the message.
  3. Bring photo ID, proof of address or other evidence where requested.
  4. Check whether a third party is allowed to collect.
  5. Collect before the stated deadline to avoid an automatic return.

DHL retailer returns and refunds

The branch records the handover into the DHL return route. The retailer, not the shop, decides when the return is received and when a refund is approved. Keep your receipt and tracking reference until the retailer confirms completion.

If tracking shows delivery but the refund has not arrived, contact the retailer with the return reference. The branch cannot authorise a refund on another company’s order.

DHL FAQs

Can I bring any DHL parcel?

No. The booking must use a compatible DHL or retailer route and name the participating branch.

Are DHL Express and DHL eCommerce the same?

No. They are different service routes with different parcel, label, packaging and collection rules.

Should I seal my DHL parcel?

Follow the booking. DHL Express ServicePoint instructions can require a contents check before final sealing, while many retailer-return and eCommerce routes expect the parcel packaged and sealed.

Can I use a QR code?

Yes, where the live DHL or retailer booking provides a compatible QR code for the named branch.

Can the shop print my label?

Only where the live QR or label process expressly supports it. Do not arrive with an ordinary PDF and assume staff can recreate the booking.

Can I use a Parcel2Go DHL label?

Only where the broker booking names the exact Vapour Central branch as its accepted drop-off point.

Why has my return not been refunded?

The retailer controls the refund. Keep the scan receipt and contact the retailer after tracking confirms delivery or when its stated processing period has passed.

What do I need to collect a parcel?

Bring the code or reference and every form of identification requested in the DHL message.

Who handles a lost or damaged parcel?

Contact DHL, the retailer or the booking platform. The branch can confirm its handover scan but cannot approve compensation.

DHL routes and limits can change. The live DHL or retailer instruction takes priority over general website guidance.
